Job Summary
Cordia Resources is seeking aSenior Accountant. This role is critical in managing financial reporting month-end close processes and ensuring compliance with government regulations. The ideal candidate will have strong technical accounting skills and experience in a government contracting environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and analyze monthly quarterly and annual financial statements.
- Manage and execute month-end close activities.
- Ensure compliance with FAR and DCAA requirements.
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Support audits and internal controls.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting (required).
- CPA certification (preferred).
- Minimum 5 years of accounting experience preferably in government contracting.
- Strong knowledge of FAR and DCAA compliance.
- Proficiency in Unanet (required).
- Excellent analytical organizational and communication skills.
