About HitPay
HitPay is a Series A fintech backed by Y Combinator Tiger Global HOF Capital and Global Founders Capital. We are building multi-rail payments infrastructure across APAC spanning cards real-time payment rails wallets payouts and FX.
HitPay is licensed in multiple jurisdictions and processes US$1B in annualised TPV. Our next phase of growth is scaling a regulated payout and FX business working directly with licensed financial institutions fintech platforms and marketplaces.
The Role
We are hiring our first dedicated sales hire to scale HitPays payout and FX business. The role sits at the intersection of:
Sales
Product & engineering
Compliance & regulation
You will sell regulated payout and FX infrastructure to licensed FIs and platforms while deeply understanding and being able to explain flow of funds settlement safeguarding and regulatory constraints.
This is a 0 1 founding role with direct exposure to the CEO Head of Compliance and Engineering Youll Work With
CEO on strategy deal structuring and key relationships
Head of Compliance on regulatory feasibility flow-of-funds licensing and controls
Engineering & Product on APIs settlement logic and customer integrations
This role requires someone who is comfortable operating across commercial regulatory and technical domains.
Who Youll Sell To
Licensed banks and non-bank FIs
Payment institutions (MPI / EMI / MSB equivalents)
Fintech platforms with embedded money movement
Marketplaces with regulated payout and FX flows
Sales cycles will often involve:
Compliance and risk teams
Legal and procurement
Technical diligence and architecture reviews
What Youll Do
1. Own Payout & FX Sales (0 1)
Sell HitPays:
Domestic and cross-border payout capabilities
FX and settlement infrastructure
Multi-rail disbursement flows
Clearly articulate:
End-to-end flow of funds
Where funds are held settled and safeguarded
Regulatory responsibilities and boundaries
2. Navigate Regulatory & Compliance-Led Sales
Work closely with Compliance to:
Assess deal feasibility by jurisdiction
Structure compliant flow-of-funds models
Support regulatory and due diligence questions from counterparties
Participate in:
Compliance questionnaires
Risk reviews
Partner onboarding and approvals
3. Partner with Product & Engineering
Translate customer requirements into:
Product and API needs
Settlement and FX logic
Support technical discussions around:
Payout timing (T0 / T1)
Liquidity prefunding and reconciliation
Error handling and operational flows
4. Build the Foundation for Scale
Identify repeatable:
Use cases
Customer profiles
Corridors and currencies
Help define:
Pricing models
Commercial structures
Early sales playbooks
Over time help scale:
Sales
Partnerships
GTM motion for payouts & FX
What Were Looking For
Must-Have
510 years experience in payments banking FX or fintech infrastructure
Hands-on experience selling to:
Licensed FIs
Regulated fintech platforms
Strong understanding of:
Flow of funds and settlement
FX mechanics and liquidity
Regulatory considerations in money movement
Comfortable working closely with:
Compliance teams
Product and engineering teams
Experience with long high-trust sales cycles
Strong Plus
Experience at:
Payment processors
FX / treasury infrastructure providers
Banking-as-a-service platforms
Familiarity with:
Safeguarding and client money rules
Cross-border settlement structures
APAC regulatory environments
Prior zero-to-one or early-stage experience
