Job Summary

Unit role: The provision of capable force elements at readiness for operations.

Position Role: Responsible for inspection maintenance and servicing of 103Bn REMEs and affiliated units weapons systems.

Responsibilities:

1. In conjunction with the Bn ASM Plan and Co-Ordinate all Armourer specific tasks within the Bn AOR.

2. Conduct maintenance servicing and inspections for all weapon systems held by the Bn and affiliated units in accordance with the UECD and any other pertinent policies.

3. Provide support on range packages and shooting competitions.

4. Supervise the work of subordinate Armourers.

5. Maintain the fault report book.

6. Maintain and manage the armoury.

7. Supervise and mentor subordinate tradesmens trade proficiency development progression.

8. Maintain and manage weapon systems on JAMES.

9. Comply with all relevant SHEF regulations.

10. Encourage and demonstrate the highest possible standards of engineering hygiene.

11. Manage and act as SME for all weapon systems.

12. Ensure that individual RECs are updated accordingly in conjunction with the EMS.

13. Any other duties or details as directed by the CoC.
