Location: Montana State Hospital
Schedule: Day Shift Float Pool Must be able to work as needed including varied days
Positions accepted: CNA or Behavioral Health Tech (BHT)
Shift & Unit Requirements
Open shift availability highly preferred
Float Pool role
Experience in Adult Psych required
Must be highly skilled in de-escalation techniques

Job Responsibilities
Certified Nurse Aides (CNAs) at Montana State Hospital assist residents with daily living and behavioral-health-focused care including:
ADLs Support: Bathing dressing oral hygiene grooming.
Clinical Tasks: Vital signs specimen collection emergency support.
Resident Support: Transporting residents to appointments and assisting as needed.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED
Valid Montana CNA Certification
Minimum 2 years of experience in a Psych facility (adult psych required)
Strong ability to follow detailed instructions
Able to make document and report accurate clinical observations
Cooperative professional communication skills
Basic knowledge of personal hygiene and resident care
Other relevant combinations of education/experience may be considered
