MAIN FUNCTION:
- Oversees the daily activity of the billing and coding team and monitors the accounts receivables while holding daily huddles for team to plan.
- Reviews diagnosis and procedure codes for office outpatient and procedures to insure accurate reimbursement in compliance with local state and federal regulations using ICD-10-CM CPT-4 and HCPCS.
EDUCATION:
- High School Diploma required
- CPC Certification required
- Bachelors preferred
- CRC & CPMA Certification preferred.
EXPERIENCE:
- Five or more years experience in physician coding and healthcare billing industry required.
