Description
This contract position is based on-site in Lewiston and is ideal for medical professionals looking to make a significant impact in the field of rheumatology while working in a supportive staffing and recruiting environment.
In this role you will provide high-quality patient care collaborating with a team of dedicated healthcare professionals to diagnose and treat various rheumatological conditions. Your expertise will play a crucial part in enhancing patient outcomes and ensuring the highest standards of care are met.
- Conduct thorough patient evaluations and assessments
- Diagnose and treat rheumatological conditions
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Educate patients and their families about rheumatological diseases
- Stay current with advancements in rheumatology and best practices
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to quality improvement initiatives
Requirements
- Medical Doctor (MD) or Osteopathic Doctor (DO) degree
- Associate level experience in Rheumatology
- Valid medical license to practice in the state
- Strong clinical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- Commitment to providing high-quality patient care
- Knowledge of current rheumatological treatments and therapies
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8a-5p
No call coverage required
Setting: Outpatient
Daily Census: 20 patients
Patient Population: Adults
Facility: Lab draws on site 4 infusion rooms
EMR: Epic
Support Staff: 1 physician 1 APP
Must be board-certified
