Time Type: Full timeWorker Type: EmployeeSupporting the Regional marine line of business capacity via managing and driving performance in the attritional claims book - as well as managing and servicing the Malaysia domiciled marine claims.To collate compile and communicate key claims and performance data for presentation and distribution to internal stakeholders.
Providing delivery of claims services determining proper policy coverage to conclude investigate evaluate and negotiate assigned cases.
Ensuring customer satisfaction and equitable solution to claims in accordance with company guidelines.
To facilitate and at times manage technology integration into claims processes and management systems.
Your New Role:
- Support the implementation of claims management strategies and objectives for the region / branch.
- Maintain current knowledge of insurance guidelines and policy changes and modifications.
- Contribute to the refinement of processes and procedures to improve Claims systems and procedures.
- Approve claims within appropriate authority levels.
- Maintain good client relationships with the insured agents service providers and the general public.
- Respond to client requests in accordance with service standards.
- Provide information and feedback on claims activity and developing trends to underwriters/risk assessors to enable appropriate actions to be carried out.
- Ensure recoverable amounts are assessed and effectively followed up and approving significant claims within written authority levels.
- Ensure legitimate claims are paid in accordance with policy conditions by providing technical expertise and leadership.
- May supervise the investigation and settlement of all claims within the team.
About You:
- At least 7 years experience in insurance with at least 5 years experience in hull and machinery and cargo claims.
- Customer service.
- Organizational and communication skills.
- Analytical and negotiation skill
- Strong knowledge of insurance industry and claims processes calls.
