Responsibilities
IMMEDIATELY HIRING Extrusion Operators for our Franklin Park location. Extrusion Machine Operator - Hiring Immediately - Franklin Park IL.
Compensation Includes:
- Starting rate of $21.32 - $26.93 an hour
Available Shift:
- Night Shift
- 7:00pm - 7:00am
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Consistently and safely operates machines at or above standard levels of operation including waste quality efficiency and utilization
- Trouble shoot identify and correct machine related problems through proper adjustments to various parts of the machine
- Provide innovative solutions for production issues
- Provides support and guidance to less experienced personnel
- Completes appropriate end of shift paperwork accounting for crewing time machine time and production quantities
- Able to inspect and recognize defective product and make machine adjustments to correct cause of defects
- Observes all housekeeping standard work and safety guidelines
- Mechanical aptitude demonstrated problem solving skills and effective communication skills - written and verbal are required
Qualifications:
- 1 years working in a manufacturing environment as an Extrusion Machine Operator
- Experience and willingness to work 12 hour rotating scheules including every other weekend
- Ability to show up for work prior to shift and be prepared to get the day going on time
- Strong problem solving and troubleshooting experience working with Extrusion Machines
- Excellent communication skills detailed record keeping per the prescribed frequency
- Analytical and math skills
- Ability to perform qualitychecks and have an understanding of production measurement tools
- Knowledge of product quality standards
- Comfortable wearing PPE such as hairnets beard-nets steel toed shoes/boots ear protection and bump-capswhen required
- Manual dexterity
