Job Summary

Heres What You Need

High School Diploma or equivalent required

Associate Degree preferred

Two years of clerical or administrative experience required

Advanced or Expert in proficiency in Excel and Adobe Pro preferred

Medical staff or credentialing experience preferred

Experience with Joint Commission preferred

What You Will Do

Management of ED call schedule

Coordinate monitor and maintain the credentialing and re-credentialing process

Facilitate all aspects of credentialing including initial appointment processing reappointment expirations as well as clinical privileges for Medical Staff providers including Insurance Payers with whom we have contracts

Work closely with group providers to obtain documents for enrollment

Respond to internal and external inquiries on enrollment statuses

Maintain provider documents licenses directories files and enrollments in all applicable locations

Track provider license certification DEA and professional liability expiration dates to ensure timely renewals

Medical Affairs Department highlights:

The Credential Specialist is assigned to the Medical Staff Affairs department and will provide support to the Director and assist the medical staff.
