Receives and processes all serviceorders and procurement requests and maintains an accounting of related budgetexpenditures for all aircraft. Receivesvendor and aviation maintenance technician requests manually andelectronically. Serves as the centralpoint of contact for vendor interaction regarding materiel orders and serves asthe focal point on all service orders and procurement actions for allaircraft. Responsible for coordinatingpre-inspection delivery of repair parts and the efficient transfer of thoseparts from inventory to the specific aircraft job and maintenance agenda. Ensures materiel and component orders anddeliveries are coordinated with aircraft maintenance and manpower work flow tomaximize manpower productivity.
Education: Graduation from and accredited high school or possession of a high school equivalency certificate.
Experience:Five years of turbine helicopter maintenance experience.
Note:Candidates may substitute U.S. Armed Forces military service experience as a non-commissioned officer in the Aviation Machinist Mate classifications or Aviation Aerospace Maintenance or Aircraft Maintenance specialtycodes in the Aviation Maintenance field of work on a year-for-year basis for the required experience.
1. Employees in this classification must possess a valid and current FAAAirframe and Powerplant Mechanic License.
2. Employees in this classification must possess a current FAA InspectionAuthorization within 3 months of hire or date of promotion.
3. Employees in this classification may be assigned duties which require theoperation of a motor vehicle therefore will be required to possess a motor vehicle operators license valid in the State of Maryland.
for positions with the Department of Maryland State Police will besubject to a complete criminal background investigation and a polygraphexamination before permanent appointment can be made. A criminal conviction maybe grounds for rejection of the applicant.
2. Somepositions in this classification are assigned duties which will require theindividual to be examined by a physician. After an offer of employmentapplicants for such positions will be given a medical examination to certifythe ability to perform the essential job functions.
3. Employeesin this classification are subject to call-in on a 24 hour basis andtherefore will be required to provide the employer with a phone number wherethey can be reached. Working weekends and holidays isrequired. Employee also subject to emergency call out.Thisis an Emergency Essential Employee.
4. Employeesin this classification must have access to an automobile for use on officialbusiness in the event a State vehicle cannot be provided. Standard mileageallowance will be paid for use of a privately owned vehicle.
5. Employeesin this classification are subject to substance abuse testing in accordancewith Code of Maryland Regulations 17.04.09 Testing for Illegal Use of Drugs.

Theexamination will consist of a rating of your education training and experiencerelated to the requirements of the position. You may be required to complete aqualifications supplement or the rating may be based on your all experience and education that is related to this may be given a physical examination and will be subject to aninterview background investigation polygraph examination and substance abusetesting.
