Job Summary
Introduction to the job

Our headquarters are in Veldhoven Netherlands and we have 18 office locations around the United States including main offices inChandler Arizona San Jose and San Diego California Wilton Connecticut and Hillsboro Oregon.
Your Assignment:
The major task of the role is to use existing tool to generate a library of rigorously simulated (FDTD) images for machine learning modeling. He or she will get familiar with optical models and explore methods for improvement.
- Get familiar with the automation tool analyze the results.
- Participate the discussion of improvement of Tachyon product.
- Further improve the automation tool and add more functionality to meet the need of data analysis.
- Other duties as assigned.

Education and experience
- M.S. or Ph.D. in electrical engineering physics chemical engineering IC manufacturing or process technology related field
- Script level programming skills intermediate to advance level of experience / knowledge using Python.
- Experience or knowledge conducting data analysis and gathering data for reports.
- Basic statistic knowledge required.
- Knowledge of rigorous optical / electrical magnetic wave simulation (FDTD - finite difference time domain or RCWA Rigorous Coupled Wave Analysis) is a plus.
- Knowledge of machine learning is a plus.
