QA Automation at OMNIC

Join OMNIC an Officially Amazing Company and Guinness World Record holder for the largest fully automated parcel locker as a QA Automation professional. We seek talented individuals who are passionate about quality assurance and automate backend and frontend testing to improve product quality and enhance testing efficiency.

Mission

  • To ensure high-quality software solutions that meet the needs of our clients while actively contributing to sustainable practices in logistics retail and HoReCa.
  • To drive innovation through effective automation and quality assurance methodologies.

Key Requirements

  • 3 years of experience in QA Automation focusing on backend testing.
  • English language (B2 - level)
  • Proficient in Python and familiar with testing frameworks.
  • Experience with web UI test automation frameworks (e.g. Selenium WebDriver Playwright).
  • Solid understanding of microservice architecture and experience testing distributed systems.
  • Experience in API testing and working with tools such as Postman.
  • Practical experience with Git Jira and CI/CD systems (e.g. Jenkins GitLab CI/CD).
  • Knowledge of SQL and experience working with databases.
  • Experience with load testing tools (JMeter k6).

Key Responsibilities

  • Automate backend microservices testing using Python.
  • Develop and maintain automated tests for frontend applications (React Native) including the user and admin portals.
  • Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline to enable continuous testing and ensure high release quality.
  • Develop automated testing tools/framework components to support other QA engineers.
  • Create and keep test documentation up to date in Confluence and Jira.
  • Analyze and localize defects in a distributed system and log them in Jira.
  • Collaborate with developers and analysts to improve product quality and process efficiency.
  • Participate in planning and retrospective sessions and contribute to improving existing testing processes.
