Compensation
Weekly Gross: $2189.16/week
W2 Rate: $19/hour
Weekly Stipend: $1505/week
Local Pay Option: $48/hour
Job Summary
The Radiologic Technologist is responsible for performing diagnostic radiographic examinations while ensuring patient safety image quality and compliance with established radiology standards. This role supports efficient department operations through accurate imaging documentation and collaboration with the healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities
Perform diagnostic X-ray procedures in accordance with physician orders and departmental protocols.
Position patients accurately to obtain high-quality diagnostic images while maintaining patient comfort and safety.
Operate radiographic equipment and imaging systems safely and efficiently.
Ensure adherence to radiation safety principles and ALARA standards.
Verify patient identity review exam orders and confirm clinical history prior to imaging.
Maintain accurate documentation within the electronic medical record (EPIC).
Communicate effectively with patients radiologists nurses and other healthcare staff.
Maintain a clean organized and safe imaging environment.
Follow infection control safety and regulatory guidelines at all times.
Required Qualifications
ARRT Certification (Required)
Minimum 2 years of recent Radiologic Technologist experience
EPIC EMR experience (Required)
Active unrestricted state radiologic technologist license
Strong communication teamwork and patient-care skills
