About this Position
The Oklahoma State University Department of Animal and Food Sciences has distinguished programs in teaching research and Extension. For more information visit and carry out daily work and record-keeping activities associated with conducting cattle research on wheat pasture and native grass pastures. Provide daily care and management of the cattle in accordance with good husbandry practices and approved experimental procedures. Provide day-to-day management of land and facilities to ensure functionality. Assist in collection of experimental data. Evaluate and provide for farm facility and equipment maintenance repair and improvement. Provide necessary and timely communications with project director(s) departmental and university personnel graduate and undergraduate students and external contractors as needed to ensure successful completion of research. Provide supervision and scheduling of staff and undergraduate student labor to ensure a positive work environment successful accomplishment of research objectives and maximum work efficiencies.
