This role is critical to ensuring the efficient operation supervision and maintenance of our fleet and mechanical assets. Assist and completes in-take of new vehicles. Serves as the Quality Control for new vehicles. Will ensure each new vehicle has been inspected and all equipment is accounted for.

Four years of experience or training as a mechanic.
Job Duties:
Assist and completes in-take of new vehicles. Serves as the Quality Control for new vehicles. Will ensure each new vehicle has been inspected and all equipment is accounted for.
Deliver and pickup vehicles that have been repaired at vendors. Bring damaged vehicles to vendors for repair estimates.
Submit a weekly repair log to Equipment Superintendent. Operates tow truck and/or other large vehicles on occasion.
Conducts training and evaluates performance and productivity of inmate mechanics.
Performs limited administrative functions such as recording time and attendance compiling reports data entry etc.

Work Schedule: Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM Monday Friday.
Compensation: The salary offered will be determined based on qualifications and experience.
The bi-weekly rate for this position is as follows: Mechanic Supervisor A (WS215) - $1928.00
