Position Summary
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking skilled and dedicated Registered Respiratory Therapists (RRTs) to join a high-acuity acute care setting. This role supports neonatal pediatric and adult patient populations and requires strong clinical judgment independence and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient-centered respiratory care.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver comprehensive respiratory care services in accordance with departmental policies and standards.
Perform routine and advanced respiratory therapy procedures for patients across all age groups.
Set up manage and monitor invasive and non-invasive mechanical ventilation.
Conduct patient assessments and evaluate responses to respiratory treatments.
Document treatments assessments and patient progress accurately in the EMR.
Function independently to ensure continuity of care when leadership support is not immediately available.
Maintain compliance with hospital regulatory quality and safety standards.
Collaborate with physicians nurses and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
Required Qualifications
Minimum 1 year of experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist in an acute care setting.
Completion of an AMA-approved Respiratory Care Program (Associate Degree required).
Active Florida RRT license (required).
Current BLS certification.
Strong clinical assessment skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
