Job Summary

Jessieville School District invites applications for the position of Superintendent beginning July 1 2026.

Key Responsibilities

The Superintendent will:

Collaborate with families staff and community stakeholders.
Manage district operations budgets and organizational systems effectively.
Oversee and enhance safety programs and features.
Promote the districts mission vision and values at all levels.
Lead with transparency professionalism and ethical integrity in all decisions.

Required Qualifications

Valid Arkansas Superintendent License (or eligibility to obtain upon hire).
Masters degree in Educational Leadership Administration or related field.
Strong knowledge of assessment curriculum instruction and educational strategies to enhance student achievement.
Proven experience with school district budget preparation and management.
Leadership experience involving personnel finances and general operations.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Understanding of Arkansas statutes including FOIA with the ability to uphold Board policies and procedures in a professional and ethical manner.

Preferred Qualifications

Record of success in recruiting retaining and developing talented staff.
Experience in strategic planning and community engagement.
Demonstrated success as a Superintendent Principal or comparable educational leader.

Compensation & Benefits

Competitive salary ranging from $110000 to $130000 depending on experience and qualifications.
