Position Overview
A large acute care hospital in the Syracuse NY area is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse Case Manager for an immediate-start travel assignment. Candidates must have strong acute care hospital case management experience and be fully committed to the full duration of the contract.
Key Requirements
Immediate availability required
Monday start
Experience with EPIC electronic medical records (required)
Acute care hospital case management experience (required)
Qualifications
Active New York State RN license
BLS certification (must be current and eligible for recertification)
Minimum of 1.5 years of recent experience (within the past 2 years) in an acute care hospital of similar or larger size or a trauma center
Travelers must have experience in hospitals of equal or greater size/acuity
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
EPIC EMR experience preferred
Compliance & Screening Requirements
Must not have had any professional license or certification suspended or under investigation
Must not have been named as a defendant in a professional liability claim
Must have verification of legal right to work in the United States
Must successfully pass pre-employment health clearance
Subject to drug screening and criminal background check
