Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist (PT) to provide high-quality patient-centered rehabilitative care within an acute-care hospital setting. This role is responsible for performing comprehensive evaluations developing individualized treatment plans and delivering evidence-based therapeutic interventions to optimize patient mobility function and overall outcomes. The PT will collaborate closely with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams to ensure continuity and excellence of care.
Required Qualifications
Active Florida Physical Therapist (PT) license required
Bachelors or Masters Degree in Physical Therapy
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required within 30 days of hire
New graduates are encouraged to apply (Florida license must be active at time of submission)
Key Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive physical therapy evaluations and establish individualized plans of care aligned with physician orders and patient goals
Deliver skilled therapeutic interventions to improve mobility strength balance and functional independence
Monitor and reassess patient progress modifying treatment plans as clinically appropriate
Educate patients families and caregivers on therapeutic exercises adaptive techniques and equipment usage
Maintain accurate timely documentation in compliance with regulatory and organizational standards
Effectively manage caseloads while coordinating care transitions to support operational efficiency
