Job Summary
The position is primarily responsible for delivering various items complete and in good condition to specified customers as well as performing any tasks related to proof of delivery. The role entails spending 90% of time doing fieldwork and it involves exposure to travel-related risks and may involve extended working hours.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensures the safe and complete delivery of goods in optimal condition.
- Collaborates with the dispatch planner and other team members to accomplish delivery.
- Conducts routine safety and maintenance on the vehicle.
- Adheres to the standard safety protocols both on and off the road.
- Handles collections as needed during deliveries and maintains punctuality and adherence to schedules throughout the job
- Complies with designated timelines for deliveries and performs other tasks that might be assigned from time to time.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Graduate (Minimum) or Graduate of Technical / Vocational Course. With a professional drivers license code A A1 B B1 B2 C
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in driving and delivering goods using a 6-wheeler Reefer Van.
- Proficient in driving a 6-wheeler reefer van and minor troubleshooting.
- Capable of engaging with customers professionally and efficiently handling transport or product delivery documentation.
