Position Summary:
The Department of Civil Environmental & Geomatics Engineering (CEGE) hosts 3 ABET-accredited undergraduate programs a Masters degree in Civil Engineering and a Ph.D. in Transportation and Environmental Engineering with about 400 undergraduate and 100 graduate students. The faculty is highly interdisciplinary and conducts research primarily in the broad thematic areas of Urban Mobility Infrastructure and Sustainability/Resilience. The Department has three research centers: the Center for Infrastructure and Constructed Facilities ( the Center for Water Resiliency and Risk Reduction () and the Freight Mobility Research Institute (.
The FAU College of Engineering and Computer Science is in the top three fastest progressing engineering colleges in the nation (US News and World Report Rankings 2020-2022). Minimum Qualifications:
Applicants must have a B.S. degree in Civil Engineering and a Ph.D. in Transportation Engineering or a closely related area within Civil Engineering. The successful candidate will be expected to build and publish results from independent and/or collaborative research programs teach and mentor graduate and undergraduate students and participate in professional and departmental service activities. Professional licensure or the ability to become licensed during the first three years of employment is highly desirable.Salary:
