Job Information:

Position: Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
Location: Multi-Assigned Department of Exceptional Student Services
Work Year: 175 Days 10 month contract
Specialists must participate in New Teacher Orientation as a condition of employment
Salary Range: $37800 - $90370 for internal candidates ($37800 - $52800 for external candidates dependent on experience and education) Pay will be prorated based on start date.
FLSA Classification:Exempt

Job Summary:
This position is responsible for providing skills instruction and behavior reduction protocols based upon principals of Applied Behavior Analysis to children with Autism serious emotional disabilities and other developmental disabilities in the school setting under the direction of a BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst). The Registered Behavioral Technician (RBT) will collect data on programs assist with staff training and assist with assessments as needed. This position requires strong problem solving critical thinking and decision making skills. Strong interpersonal relation skills and oral and written communication skills are required in the performance of these duties.
