Job Summary
Job Description:
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Design Extrusion Dies and tooling to make Automotive Seals.
Analyze Extrusion Die flow path using CFD software.
Work with Machinists and Tool Makers to help coordinate tool builds.
Participate in the die trials to assist in developing extrusion production process.
Revise Extrusion Die Design to improve part quality.
Provide extrusion tooling quotes.
Maintain organized design libraries on computer hard drive.
Comply with Occupational Health and Safety Act and Regulations Workers Safety Insurance Act and
Cooper Standard Automotive Health Safety and Environment Procedures.
EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS
Education Engineering Technologist or Equivalent
Minimum 2 years CAD design experience
Solidworks Design experience.
CFD Analysis experience.
Mastercam knowledge.
