We are currently recruiting for a qualified EMA or EMT to join ourteam in Whakatāne!
This is a permanent position working an average of 42 hours on a DDNN 4 x 4 roster.
In this role you will:
- Work alongside a qualified Ambulance Officer
- Drive the ambulance and assist with the delivery of patient care
- Ensure operational readiness of vehicle and equipment
- Complete other relevant administrative tasks
Qualifications :
Ko wai koe - About you:
To be successful in this role you will have:
- A current qualification of First Responder or St John Authority to Practice (ATP) at EMT
- Excellent operational and clinical performance to date
- Excellent driving record
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a strong customer focus
- A genuine commitment to the wellbeing of others
- The ability to work under pressure as part of a team
- Evidence of CCE
- New Zealand citizenship permanent residency or work visa
- Demonstrated behaviours that align with Hato Hone St Johns core values - Do the right thing (Mahi Tika) Side by Side (Tū Tahi) Straight Up (Mahi Pono) Make it better (Whakapai Ake) Open Minds (Whakaaro Nui)
