Title: Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
Location: Manhattan NY (Off West 48th street)
Salary Benefits: $145000 to $Union Benefits MondayFriday schedule no weekends/on-call
Responsibilities of the Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner:
Provide outpatient psychiatric evaluations and medication management for adult patients primarily those with substance use and addiction-related conditions.
Conduct 1-hour psychiatric evaluations and 30-minute medication management visits.
Manage a manageable daily caseload of 67 patients to ensure high-quality clinical care.
Collaborate closely with a team of three prescribers at the site for coordinated comprehensive treatment.
Deliver Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) services in alignment with evidence-based guidelines.
Maintain thorough and accurate clinical documentation using EclinicalWorks EMR.
Provide compassionate patient-centered care in a fully on-site outpatient setting.
Contribute to a positive clinic culture continuing the legacy of a long-standing NP who is retiring.
Requirements of the Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner:
Active Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) certification.
Minimum 1 year of PMHNP experience required; 2 years strongly preferred.
Experience working with addiction substance use disorders or MAT patient populations.
Comfort working in an outpatient setting with adult patients only.
Strong clinical judgment communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Proficiency with electronic medical records; experience with EclinicalWorks a plus.
