Mechanical Engineer Intermediate DLR Group Inc (Phoenix AZ). Manage with assistance from Project Manager/Project Engineer all aspects of the project document development and coordinating with project team members to produce quality work product while adhering to project schedules; participate in the design process of mechanical building systems and prepare detailed and mechanical engineering design calculations and drawings to code; and collaborate with project manager to support client needs and maintain financial health of the project. Requires Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering Architectural Engineering or closely related field plus 4 years experience in an MEP firm working on commercial/ public projects. Requires proficient experience in: Revit; Bluebeam; AEIP Software; design techniques tools and sustainable design principles involved in producing precision technical plans drawings reports models and related deliverables; acoustic design; and designing HVAC building systems on complex projects. Requires LEED certification and Professional Engineer License in AZ. May permit telecommuting.
