Job Summary

Radiation Therapist Contract

Location: New York NY
Schedule: Full-Time 40 hrs/week
Pay: $30$42/hr

Mentor and train future radiation therapists

What Youll Do:

Administer prescribed radiation treatments accurately and safely
Verify treatment plans and dose calculations
Prepare equipment immobilization devices and treatment rooms
Perform patient setup imaging and verification
Monitor patients and ensure comfort during treatments
Participate in chart rounds training sessions and quality checks
Assist with scheduling and support student radiation therapists

What Were Looking For:

2 years of clinical experience in therapeutic radiation therapy
Hands-on experience with Varian TrueBeam
Proficiency in Mosaiq EMR
Strong knowledge of radiation therapy equipment and safety protocols
Excellent communication and patient care skills

Education & Certifications:

Graduate of an AMA-approved Radiation Therapy program
ARRT Certified (RTT) Required
New York State Radiation Therapy License Required
