Intern (fmd) AI Compiler Engineering

Responsibilities:

At theAICompetence Centerwe arelooking for a student passionate about enabling a variety NXP devices with ML acceleration using modern AI compiler technologies such as MLIR. Leverage yourcreativity for implementing new fun and innovative ways of mapping AI workloads onto edge devices in one of our this internshipour team memberswill support youto study and work with open-source AI/ML compiler your project you willlearntopushyour software development and machine learning skillsfurther. You willinvent implementand integrate methods to deploy neural networks onto heterogeneous systems. After your internship you and the team will be proud of havingdevelopeda first proof-of-concept integration of NXP devices into open-source AI/ML compiler technologies.

Preferred skills:

• Very strong skills in programming languages such as C/C or Python
• Profound knowledge of embedded systems
• Ideally first experience with AI compiler frameworks and/or Neural Processing Units (NPUs).
• Experience with Linux environments
• Experience with development tools such as VSCode and version control systems such as git.
• Fundamental know-how of neural network (PyTorch/Tensorflow)

Your Profile:

• Currently pursuing a degree in computer sciences computer engineering or other related fields (Master)
• Capability to work independently and accurately
• Strong critical and analytical thinking
• Good English communication skills for interaction with our multinational team across multiple sites
• Looking for a challenging internship in a leading Edge-AI high-tech company

Contract Duration:

• 6 months depending on your availability
