Job Summary
We are seeking a professional and reliable Delivery Driver to join our team in Louisville United States. As a Delivery Driver you will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate deliveries to our valued customers while representing our company with the highest standards of customer service.
- Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport packages and goods to designated locations
- Load and unload packages efficiently ensuring proper handling of all items
- Plan and optimize delivery routes for maximum efficiency
- Verify delivery information and obtain necessary signatures upon delivery
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries mileage and fuel consumption
- Conduct regular vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies
- Provide exceptional customer service addressing any concerns or inquiries professionally
- Assist with additional tasks as assigned by management
Qualifications :
- Valid drivers license with a clean driving record
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent navigation skills and familiarity with GPS technology
- Strong time management and organizational abilities
- Physical capability to lift and move packages of varying weights
- Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and maintaining records
- Knowledge of Louisville area roads and traffic patterns preferred
- Previous delivery experience is a plus
