Transport Supervisor

• Champion Safety
• Assist the team with Safety Observation including entering of potential hazards into ENABLON (Integrated Risk Management software platform).
• Ensure Delivery in full on time (DIFOT) is being followed for the current days delivery.
• Work collaboratively with the team to ensure successful outcomes.
• Reviewing the plan and coordination deliveries and following through with the team to ensure delivery executions are done in an appropriate and efficient manner.
• Review the delivery documents including invoices and running sheets and reconciling with daily plan report.
• Ensure all work order are billed and external invoices are processed.
• Optimizing asset utilization to ensure low-cost operation.
• Develop strategies which will improve Team performance.
• Review container movement from Shipping to customer and return to depot ensuring demurrage is negated.
• Providing general administrative support to the Transport team which includes generating overtime records attendance and punctuality reports.
• Effectively communicate with the relevant stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely execution of the delivery/ transfer schedule.
• Attend to customer queries and concerns providing accurate and detailed response.
• Review all Repair and Maintenance schedule with Workshop lead.
• Drive preventive maintenance schedule.
• Ensure compliance with all Standard Operation Procedures (SOP) and reporting any non- conformance to the Transport &Warehouse Manager Fiji in an efficient manner.
• Provide shift reports daily to the Transport &Warehouse Manager Fiji for review and action.
• Consolidate daily schedule reports and distribute to all stakeholders.
•  Ensuring all inventory processes procedures and documentation is completed in accordance with Neptune Pacific Direct Line best practices and policies.

Qualifications :

Education

• Secondary School Education. Pass in English and Math
• A certificate in Supply Chain management or Transport Management.

Experience

• 3 5 years experience in a similar role

Skills

• Physically fit
• Attention to detail
• Have strong time management skills and high degree of attention to detail
• Self-motivated and capable of handling multiple tasks in a high-pressure environment
• Ability to work either independently or collaboratively as needed
• Experience in the shipping industry is preferred
• Competent user of MS Excel and MS Outlook.
• Group 2 drivers License. Group 67 & 9 license will be an advantage.
