Works with fresh and fixed tissue for histologic and immune-histologic processing and handling. Coordinates and prioritizes laboratory activities.

Duties:

Provides assistance in specimen processing with chemicals.
Organizes slides and blocks.
Assists in staining of tissue sections.
Prepares solutions and reagents in accordance with standard procedures.
Uses microscope to collect images from stained slides.
Performs various duties as needed to successfully fulfill the function of the position.
