Salary:37400 per annum car allowance
Contract:Permanent Full Time
Your week: 36.25 hours (Monday to Friday 9am 5:15pm)
Location:Hybrid working 1 day per week from our Milton Keynes office. You will also be expected to spend time on patch.

This is what your day will look like as our Housing Officer:
Work alongside theAllocations Team andEmpty HomesTeam tosupportall new lettingscompleting pre-tenancy interviews and viewingsensuring that key performance indicators in respect of re-let times and void loss are achieved and exceeded.
Effectively manage starter tenanciesin accordance withAmplius policy and procedure;completenew tenant visits to ensure thecustomerhas moved in and iscomplying withthe terms of their tenancy. If necessary engage with ourCommunitySafetyTeam toinitiatelegal action for any breaches of tenancy attending court and evictions asrequired.
Be the lead in respect of managing and reviewing complaints ofneighbourhood managementissuespropertyconditionand hoardingin accordance withAmplius policy and procedure and working alongside theCommunitySafetyTeamwhere needed.
Work with internal and external partners toidentifyareas of neighbourhood and estate improvement and regeneration.
To ensure that potential safeguarding issues involving both adults and children areidentifiedand managed in partnership with other agencies.
To support tenants who have suffered domestic abuse working proactively with other agencies to advise and protect victims.
Whatwerelooking for
To thrive in our Housing Officer roleyoullneed:
Knowledge of Housing Law and experience of practical application of legislation and legal processes.
Ability todemonstrateeffective partnership working that has yielded successful results for both the business and customer(s).
Can prioritise workloads and is able to meet set deadlines.
A good working knowledge of IT applications such as Word Excelemailand Microsoft Outlook
Able to work on own initiative and as a flexible team member willing to support colleagues and take on varied tasks.
A full UK driving license is essential for this role.
DBS clearance isrequiredfor this role.
