Industrial Engineer II wanted by Kenco Management Services LLC in Chattanooga TN to develop best practices and cost reduction activities. Lead LMS integration efforts with WCS and WMS. Design develop and implement facility Layout and Material Handling Equipment. Design to achieve optimal performance which requires specialized design and integration. Partner closely with Customers and Kenco Operations to achieve project results. Ensure Work Measurement systems are developed implemented and effective. Ensure warehouse flow conduct zoning and slotting assessments profile analysis is aligned with company and project objectives. Conduct process observation and timemotion studies as well as assist sites analyze labor management data to drive operational decisions. Conduct value stream mapping process mapping data collection measurement systems analysis process capability and performance for exploratory data analysis hypothesis testing and analytical methods. Design develop and implement process improvement methods utilizing continuous improvement of the KOS. Perform waste analysis included value added vs. non-value-added activities as well as VA-NVA. Align the organization around lean principles and drive establishment of lean systems in all areas through use of Hoshin Planning Activities. Utilize lean and six sigma methodologies to reduce waste and variation within the operation. Telecommuting permitted from anywhere in the U.S. POSITION REQUIREMENTS: Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent in Industrial Engineering Logistics Engineering Mechanical Engineering or related field and 36 months of experience in the job offered or related occupation. Work experience must include: 1) applied experience in a distribution setting (or 3PL); 2) demonstrated proficiency in Project Management; 3) working in a customer-facing role defining expectations and achieving results; 4) demonstrated ability to effectively analyze data to identify trends performance results and opportunities for improvement.
