As an Associate Teaching Fellow you will:
- Deliver effective teaching practices and suggest approaches to innovate teaching practices to achieve student learning experiences to support success and engagement.
- Assist in applying industry clinical and/or research practice to student learning experiences success engagement and resources
- Support the course team in curriculum design and review at the unit level and deliver learner-centric research-informed teaching practices across different levels / modes of delivery.
- Maintain deep discipline and/or industry/professional knowledge that is applied to curriculum delivery and maintaining quality standards in education.
- Facilitate collaborative learning opportunities for students and provide academic mentoring and support to students to foster their learning and success including timely feedback on assessments.
To be successful youll have:
- A post-graduate qualification in a relevant discipline or a combination of qualification and experience. Ability to deliver effective teaching practices to improve student success and engagement
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team and contribute to a collegial work environment.
- Demonstrated capacity and passion for teaching and facilitation of student learning.
- Recent experience teaching adults in a tertiary setting and understanding their learning needs.
- Demonstrated capacity to provide academic support and guidance to students ensuring an inclusive and positive learning environment.
