Since starting in Perth in 2012 CMW Geosciences has expanded to 18 offices with over 300 employees across Australia and New Zealand. We are hard-working down-to-earth and passionate engineers and geologists who provide quality geotechnical site investigation analysis and design advice to the construction infrastructure and energy sectors.
We are looking to bring on a motivated and hands-on Geotechnical Engineer with at least two years of site experience to join our busy team in North Ryde Sydney. This is a fantastic opportunity to grow your career in a supportive environment working on meaningful infrastructure transmission and renewable energy projects that help you develop into a well-rounded Geotechnical Engineer.
What Were Looking for
To be successful in this role you must have
- A Civil Engineering Geology or Earth Science Degree
- A minimum of 2 years experience as a Geotechnical Engineer in a consultancy setting
- Full Australian working rights preferably citizenship or residency
- Experience working in New South Wales is strongly preferred
- Strong experience working onsite problem-solving and communicating with clients and contractors.
- Previous exposure to proposal preparation and technical report writing
- A full Australian drivers license
- Ability to travel to and work in regional NSW as required
- Good interpersonal skills
- Exceptional organisation and communication skills both verbal and written
