General duties will include:
- Assisting students in the Adobe Creative Suite programs such as Adobe Illustrator Photoshop AfterEffects and InDesign
- Holding group and/or individual office hour sessions with students
- Assisting with Canvas updates
- Assisting with demos for specific tasks in programs to assist students
- Performing relevant industry research for presentations as well as mockup research and creation
- Assisting with class critiques
Job Qualifications/Requirements
Specific areas and related requirements are as follows:
- Student must have taken the course before and received at least an A.
- Student must be available during either section 1 or section 2 of the class.
- Assistants will be expected to have advanced knowledge of Adobe Illustrator Photoshop AfterEffects and InDesign to assist them with completing their projects.
- Assistants will be asked to hold group and/or individual office hour sessions weekly with students throughout the semester.
- Assistants will meet with the faculty member teaching the course to learn about the elements within each program that may be needed to complete the projects.
Pay Rate: $16 per hour
