Job Summary
USD 454 Burlingame Public Schools is seeking a qualified School District Counselor to serve students in Kindergarten through Grade 12 for the school year.
Responsibilities include:
- Teaching a social-emotional learning (SEL) curriculum for K12 students
- Providing individual and small-group counseling
- Delivering career and college counseling including knowledge of Kansas Career and Technical Pathway options
- Assisting students with postsecondary planning and college application processes
- Building and maintaining positive relationships with students staff families and community members
- Managing documentation timelines and deadlines efficiently
Qualifications:
- Valid Kansas School Counselor license (or eligibility)
- Strong interpersonal organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively across the school district
