Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Radiation Therapist to join our patient-focused healthcare team in Ottumwa Iowa. This is an excellent opportunity for licensed professionals who are passionate about providing high-quality cancer care and making a meaningful impact on patients lives.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver safe and effective radiation therapy treatments in accordance with prescribed plans
- Collaborate with oncologists dosimetrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed under supervision
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Educate and support patients and their families throughout the treatment process
Qualifications and Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Radiation Therapy Program
- Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Hold and maintain a current Iowa Permit to Practice Radiation Therapy
- Complete 24 hours of continuing education every two years as required by state regulations
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification
