Finance Trainee

About the Role:

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Finance Trainee to join our finance team. This role is ideal for a fresh graduate or early-career professional who wants hands-on exposure to real-world financial operations accounting processes and business reporting within a fast-growing organization.

As a Finance Trainee you will work closely with senior finance team members and gain experience in bookkeeping financial reporting invoicing reconciliations and internal controls.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping activities

• Support preparation of invoices expense reports and payment vouchers

• Help maintain accurate financial records and documentation

• Assist in bank vendor and customer reconciliations

• Support monthly and quarterly financial closing processes

• Assist with payroll-related documentation and coordination

• Help prepare basic financial reports and summaries for management

• Ensure compliance with internal finance policies and procedures

• Coordinate with internal teams for financial data and clarifications

• Support audits and provide required financial information when needed

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting Commerce or Business Administration (completed or near completion)

• Basic understanding of accounting principles (debits credits journals ledgers)

• Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy

• Proficiency in MS Excel (basic formulas formatting data handling)

• Good communication and interpersonal skills

• Willingness to learn and take ownership of assigned tasks

Preferred (Nice to Have):

• Internship or academic project experience in finance or accounting

• Familiarity with accounting software (QuickBooks Zoho Books or similar)

• Basic understanding of taxation or payroll processes

• Knowledge of Google Sheets or other financial tools
