Account Manager

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

• Manage assigned accounts to maximize sales revenue and meet corporate objectives.
• Develop specific plans for existing and new customers to ensure a proactive approach with defined goals and measurables to deliver annual revenue growth.
• Develop strong customer relationships at all levels.
• Coordinate appropriate company resources to ensure efficient customer support and satisfaction.
• Anticipate and effectively resolve all customer issues related to product sales and service.
• Negotiate contracts and pricing maximizing customer commitments and company profitability.
• Understand the general market and our customers accurately forecasting monthly and longer-term revenue streams.

Education & Experience

• Bachelors degree strongly preferred.
• 3 years experience in account management.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with aptitude in building relationships with professionals of all organizational levels.
• Advanced problem resolution skills.
• Comfort with working under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent organizational presentation and Microsoft Office skills.

ITAR/EAR and Other Requirements

• Must be a U.S. Person as defined by ITAR (U.S. Citizen U.S. Permanent Resident or protected individual).
• Compliance with all applicable export control regulations.

Safety Requirements

All employees are required to attend scheduled training follow the site EHS procedures and II-VI Corporate EHS standards. This includes the use of proper protective equipment (PPE) as required by the job responsibilities.

Managers will ensure that all safety and environmental procedures are followed consistently. They will ensure that risk assessments are performed proper training work instructions required PPE is available and will monitor compliance.

Depending on location this position may be responsible for the execution and maintenance of the ISO 9000 and/or other applicable standards that may apply to the relevant roles and responsibilities within the Quality Management System and Environmental Management System.
