Role

As a Robotics Software Engineer Robot Control and Hardware Integration you will extend Intrinsics robot control and hardware abstraction framework and apply your experience in robotics algorithms control hardware integration and C to enhance the Intrinsic platform. You will contribute to cutting-edge robotic automation solutions and collaborate with industry-leading partners to deploy impactful robotics products.

How your work moves the mission forward

  • Improve our robotics real-time software framework develop new robotics features integrate new hardware and field buses and contribute to a reliable product.
  • Design and implement robust software and algorithms for advanced robotics systems.
  • Collaborate alongside industry-leading partners to deploy automation products.

Skills you will need to be successful

  • Master or Bachelor with equivalent professional experience in Computer Science Robotics or a related field.
  • Extensive experience programming robotics software in C.
  • 2 years of experience in one or more of the following: Industrial automation real-time systems control systems software robotics.
  • Motivation to closely collaborate with partners and cross functional teams.

Skills that will differentiate your candidacy

  • Extensive knowledge in C software design fieldbus communication real-time systems safety-critical software development.
  • Experience in ROS 2 Python Kubernetes.
  • PhD in Robotics Computer Science or a related field.
  • Contributions to the deployment of industrial robot systems.
  • Willingness to work in ambiguity and drive towards a solution.
  • Motivation to collaborate with partners and resolve questions on robot hardware deployments.
