About the Role

The Process Quality Engineering team is seeking a highly experienced Contamination Control Engineer to join our world-class engineering organization. The successful candidate will leverage expertise in surface and airborne particulates metallic contamination and airborne molecular contamination (AMC) along with semiconductor process technology analytical chemistry instrumentation (e.g. mass spectrometry) and sampling theory to drive Fab quality improvements. Key responsibilities include evaluating selecting maintaining and calibrating analytical equipment to monitor contamination enabling the expansion and optimization of real-time cleanroom and wafer environment monitoring systems. This role also involves recommending and conducting tests on materials and non-process chemicals entering the cleanroom as well as designing predictive tests to address contamination challenges. Additionally you will collaborate closely with process development and integration engineers to assess and mitigate risks associated with introducing exotic materials into wafer processing environments.
