Requirements for Automotive Technician
- 5 years of proven automotive repair experience (dealership national service chain or independent)
- Root cause analysis and systematic troubleshootinginstead of parts swapping
- Ability to diagnose complex intermittentfaults (electrical electronic or mechanical)
- Advanced understanding of vehicle electronics CAN bus systems
- Ability to interpretand test electrical wiring diagrams and schematics
- Ability to R&R timing chain/water pump assemblies effectively efficientlyand with minimal oversight.
What Youll Do As An Automotive Technician
- Handle a mix of jobs from brake and suspension work to drivability issues
- Repair replace engines transmissions and differentials (no rebuilds)
- Perform accurate test drives and repair verification
- Maintain a safe organized and professional workspace
- Work alongside a supportive shop foreman and an experienced tech team
