Established in 2010 St Lukes Radiation Oncology Network (SLRON) operates across three sites St Lukes Radiation Oncology Centre at St. Lukes Hospital (SLROC SLH) St Lukes Radiation Oncology Centre at St Jamess Hospital (SLROC SJH) and St Lukes Radiation Oncology Centre at Beaumont Hospital (SLROC BH).
St Lukes Radiation Oncology Network is dedicated to being a world class leader in cancer treatment patient care research and striving for this excellence the holistic needs of our patients and their families are our greatest concern.
Multidisciplinary teams consisting of medical nursing allied health professionals management and general support staff play a pivotal role in the development delivery monitoring and evaluation of services within the hospital.
The purpose of this post is to provide a quality Social Work service to oncology inpatients and outpatients undergoing or recovering from radiotherapy and/or chemotherapy. This will include providing care to individuals who are planned for during and post completion of (chemo) radiotherapy. The persons appointed to this post will work within the Health & Social Care Professions division working as part of multi-disciplinary team delivering a coordinated approach to client care.
There is currently one whole-time post available in the Social Work Department St Lukes Radiation Oncology Network St Lukes Hospital Rathgar Dublin 6. A panel may be formed as a result of this campaign for Lukes Radiation Oncology Network (SLRON) from which current and future permanent and specified purpose vacancies of full or part-time duration may be filled.
