Framlingham Sir Robert Hitchams CEVAP Primary School is a popular well-resourced school with 320 children in the delightful market town of Framlingham. We are proud of our dedicated staff and governors our enthusiastic and motivated pupils and our wide range of extra-curricular activities that enrich the learning experience.

Framlingham Sir Robert Hitchams CEVAP School is seeking an experienced SENDCoto join our team on a short-term part-time basis for one day per week. The role is required immediately and will run until Easter 2026 while we recruit a permanent SENDCo for April 2026.

This interim position would be ideal for a current SENDCo already working part time in another school who is able to offer an additional day per week for one term.

As interim SENDCo you will lead and coordinate the schools SEND provision for one day per week. Working closely with the headteacher staff families and external professionals you will help ensure that pupils with additional needs continue to receive high-quality support during this transition period.

We are looking for someone who:

  • is a qualified teacher with the NASENCO Award or NPQ in SEN (or working towards this)

  • has proven experience in leading SEND provision

  • can manage SEND processes confidently including identification assessment interventions provision mapping and maintaining SEND records

  • works efficiently and independently within limited time in school

  • communicates well with pupils staff families and outside agencies

  • is committed to inclusive practice and improving outcomes for learners with SEND.
