Electroneurodiagnostic Technologist I - The ND Technologist I is an allied health professional who has completed at least one year of ND education from an Accredited Program and one or more years of clinical experience in at least one ND procedure. Performs routine diagnostic testing procedures independently and complex procedures under the direction of a physician. Testing studies include electroencephalograms (EEG) routine and sleep-deprived; video EEGs (LTM) evoked potentials (EP) nerve conduction studies (NCV) and intra-operative monitoring (IOM).
Monitoring Tech - This position is expected to maintain and promote excellent patient care and customer service by supporting the efficient running of the clinic through direct patient care clinical duties and administrative duties. Specific duties are determined by the work setting or patient population served as directed by providers (MD/APP) and nurses but in coordination with the entire patient care team. We organize care around each patients condition which requires staff at multiple levels and across many departments to exhibit exceptional teamwork qualities including communicating efficiently and effectively and adopting the behaviors required for high functioning integrated teams.

Monitoring Tech - The hourly wage for this opportunity is $26.16 to $39.26 with a median wage of $32.71.
Pay is dependent on several factors including relevant work experience education certification & licensure and internal equity. Hourly pay is just one part of the compensation package for employees. Electroneurodiagnostic Technologist I -
Provides patient and family focused care that results in high quality diagnostic testing procedures and results.
- Conducts tests appropriate to the patients medical history current complaints and reason for referral.
- Analyzes the patients test data during the recording altering testing procedures as needed to obtain complete valid and interpretable data.
- Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to recognize and provide age specific care for neonatal pediatric adolescent and adult patients.
Provides service to patients families and colleagues that are professional timely responsive courteous and positive.
- Collaborates effectively to organize services to meet needs of patients.
Understands and participates in departmental and hospital-based QI processes.
- Demonstrate engagement through participation in and attention to the work of the unit/department/practice site initiatives
Follows procedures and policies.
- Protects confidentiality of personal health information.
Collaborates effectively and positively with colleagues and other medical staff.

- Performs EEG and assists with other patient testing as delegated by Supervisor.

- Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to recognize and provide age specific care for neonatal pediatric adolescent and adult patients.
Supply Maintenance
- Checks supply levels in the equipment area; restocks as needed.
Equipment Processing
- Ensures cleanliness of all equipment & supplies.
Follows procedures and policies.
- Documents patient information and charges.
- Protects confidentiality of personal health information.
Qualifications

Required
- Minimum of one year of END education from an accredited program or clinical experience
- One or more years of clinical experience in at least one END procedure.
- Certification or Registration in one END procedure R EEG T. CNIM CLTM R NCS T
- CPR certification
- Must perform studies certified / registered in.
Preferred
- Graduate from an Accredited END Program
- IOM experience
- Experience working with pediatric and patients with disabilities
Monitoring Tech -
Required
- CPR certification willingness to obtain in 90 days (not required for those who work exclusively off-site)
- At least 6 months of END education from an Accredited Program or equivalent
Preferred
- Enrolled in an accredited clinical Neurodiagnostic Tech. Program or have completed an accredited CNT program and waiting to complete the National Registration (ABRET) for EEG
- Medical background with direct patient care for pediatrics and special needs patients.
