Hours of Work 35 Hours the allocation of these hours will be at the discretion of the Department Head and in accordance with needs of service

Working Model - Fully Onsite
Remuneration - *63912 (point 1) to 75254 (point 9).
Annual Leave - As per Health Service Executive (HSE)
Closing Date 4th January 2026
Proposed Interview Date Week Beginning 12th January 2026 - At least 1 weeks notice will be provided

PURPOSE OF THE POST
The Senior Speech and Language Therapist will be responsible for the provision and delivery of a high-quality Speech and Language Therapy service in the designated clinical area(s) and will carry out clinical educational and administrative duties as required.
To work in collaboration with the Speech and Language Therapy Manager in planning developing co-ordinating and evaluating the service to meet the needs of the service users and the objectives of the organisation.
Point on Salary Scale
- New appointees coming from the private sector will be placed on the minimum point of the scale.
- Clinical and Therapy Grades: Incremental credit may be applied for recognised relevant service in Ireland and abroad (Department of Health Circular 2/2011) in the Civil Service local authorities public service health service and other public service bodies and statutory agencies.
