This Outstanding secondary school is looking for a practical and skilled Science Technician to focus on supporting the Physics curriculum up to A-Level. The role involves preparing advanced experiments related to electricity mechanics and optics vital for maintaining the schools exceptional standard of practical science delivery.
Physics Preparation: Preparing electronic circuits optical equipment mechanical apparatus and setting up complex demonstrations for Physics lessons.
Equipment Maintenance: Carrying out fault-finding repair and calibration of sensitive Physics apparatus and equipment.
Resource Coordinator: Assisting teachers with technology integration and managing the inventory of all Physics resources.
Essential Requirements: Experience or demonstrable interest in Physics/Electronics/Engineering strong practical skills and commitment to working in an educational setting.
Salary: Competitive salary paid on the local government scale (expected to be 24000 - 29000 per annum).
