Job Summary

Agile Lead

May be the Scrum Master or equivalent for an enterprise or scaled team delivering products and projects of relatively large size risk and complexity responsible for demonstrating fluency promoting and supporting Scrum as defined in the Scrum Guide the Kanban framework and other agile frameworks including Lean concepts and principles as described and maintained in their respective bodies of knowledge servant-leader for the agile team and supports the Product Owner and Development Team in their quest to do everything possible to predictably deliver high quality value to customers help teams become high-performing by coaching self-organization and cross-functionality and by clearing away obstacles that get in the way help the agile team progress in their fluency and effectiveness by recognizing the need for and helping to implement additional practices such as TDD test automation continuous integration works with other Agilists to lead promote and embody Agile values and principles throughout the organization.

Essential Job Functions & Tasks:
1. Evangelizes agility across departments programs and Agile Community;
2. Mentors other Agilists across organization in agile values principles practices and frameworks;
3. Assesses teams are staffed and set up for success and escalates as needed;
4. Demonstrates ability to influence agility with those interacting with the agile team including across department management;
5. Guides the team and departments on how to use agile values agile principles and agile framework practices to delight customers and contribute towards building a culture of trust respect simplicity courage transparency and agility;
6. Educates and coaches on role expectations: Product Owner Team Members Customers Departments and Managers;
7. Builds effective partnership with the Product Owner and provide mentoring and support especially with respect to refining and managing the product backlog and release planning/forecasting aligning delivery expectations with all stakeholders;
8. Facilitates getting the work done in accordance with Standard Work through guiding and influencing the team from a servant leader stance;
9. Facilitates discussion decision making conflict resolution and continuous improvement;
10. Crafts internal and external communication improve transparency and radiate information through Visual Management Board (Release Burn etc.) to report team progress to audiences at all levels of the organization;
11. Guides the team on self-organization to fill in the intentional gaps left in the agile frameworks;
12. Assesses the agile health of the team and coach them to higher levels of fluency at a sustainable pace for the team and department;
13. Demonstrates agile behaviors and practices while exhibiting an innovative attitude and an aptitude to embrace change and improve the practices and processes of the team on a daily basis;

Minimum Requirements:
Education: Bachelors Degree in computer science or related field; OR Associates degree with 2 years of related technical experience; OR High School Diploma/GED with 4 years of related technical experience;
Work Experience: In addition to experience listed above eight years of experience delivering products or projects including five years of experience as a member of an Agile team with a preference for Scrum Team experience;
License/Certification: Professional Scrum Master certification from is expected;

Additional Comments
Scrum Master that also values key project management deliverables such as Budget forecasting project status reports sponsor meetings etc. This is high priority emerging work supporting our operating companies use of Drones by building Vision AI models and integrating issues into their workflow supporting key perfect power measure.
