Technical Architect (AWS Glue Lambda DBT DataZone)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Tech Lead to drive our data engineering initiatives. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in AWS Glue AWS Lambda and DBT and will be responsible for leading technical teams architecting scalable data solutions and driving transformation across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the design development and deployment of data pipelines using AWS Glue Lambda and DBT DataZone.
Architect scalable and secure data solutions in a cloud-native environment.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Mentor and guide engineers fostering a culture of innovation ownership and continuous improvement.
Drive adoption of best practices in data engineering DevOps and cloud architecture.
Ensure high performance reliability and maintainability of data systems.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders presenting technical concepts in a clear and concise manner.
Champion change management and lead initiatives that improve data quality accessibility and governance.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Experience in software development.
Strong hands-on experience with AWS Glue AWS Lambda and DBT.
Proficiency in Python SQL and cloud-native development.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines version control (Git) and infrastructure as code (e.g. Terraform CloudFormation).
Proven leadership experience in managing technical teams and delivering complex projects.
Excellent communication problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced agile environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

AWS Certification (e.g. Solutions Architect Data Analytics).
Experience with other AWS services like S3 Redshift Athena Step Functions.
Familiarity with data governance security and compliance frameworks.
